Meet Henry

Henry Scriven-Young

Henry Scriven-Young is a senior  at George Washington University studying Political Communications and minoring in both sustainability and Chinese.

​

Henry is a public servant, music lover, actor, and leader in his community.

​

He serves his community as the ranking student on the Student Advisory Panel on Dining, as the Vice President for University Singers, and as an intern for Congresswoman Nikki Budzinski.

​​​​

Over his life, Henry has earned the American Legion award, awards at the collegiate RLC and NACURH, is the recipient of the Tamara Wilson Excellence in Music scholarship through YNS (Young Naperville Singers), and was named NRHH Member of the Month (the first award of its kind). In addition, he was proud to serve his constituents as the Democratic Precinct Captain for Wheatland's 21st Precinct.​​

​

Henry is an involved member of the University Singers, which meets each week to make music and prepare for concerts, and various theatre groups on campus, which host several productions each year. He has served as both an actor and as a member of the tech team.

​

In his free time, Henry loves to read books and spend time with his family and friends.
